Two days of storms in North and Central Texas have caused cancellations and delays of flights and plenty of headaches for the travel industry in El Paso.
"It is just causing havoc," said Paula Doran, leisure sales and marketing director at Sun Travel.
It wasn't just the storms that affected passengers at El Paso International Airport, but where the storms occurred. Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport is a hub for American Airlines, and Dallas Love Field is Southwest Airlines' home base.

Back then, fishing cabins and small mom-and-pop resorts clustered around the lake, and the Dogpatch on the strip was a combination gas station/souvenir shop.But the restaurant served great Bar-B-Que and hand-breaded onion rings. It became known for its pies and the view.Pamela Lanier and her husband, Brent, bought the restaurant, boutique and marine market in February 2003.

NORFOLK ? A teenager was shot in the 2500 block of Jamaica Ave. late Thursday.
Police responded to that address after a call came in about the shooting. They found a young man in his mid-to-late teens on the ground.
Officer Chris Amos, a police spokesman, said the victim was alert and talking to officials at the scene.

A teenager was shot last night on a Norfolk street.
The victim, whose name has not been released, was shot in the 2500 block of Jamaica Avenue, police spokesman Sgt. Chris Amos said. He described the victim as being in his "mid- to late-teens." Despite earlier media reports, the victim did not die and is expected to recover, according to Amos.
Amos said the victim was alert and talking to officers at the scene of the shooting. He was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
