Paris Hilton, aka "The Walking X-ray," "The Brat" and "Poor Little Rich Girl" has crammed a lifetime of living in a few scant weeks this past month.
Busted for DWI while on one of her numerous party circuits, she violated her suspension and got tossed back in the clink.
But not for long. Paris, you see, had friends in high places.

Brides, grooms and the $73 billion wedding industry that caters to them are paying more attention to the environmental implications of their choices.
It is a trend that was barely on the cultural radar screen a couple of years ago. Couples concerned about global warming are scaling back and thinking green as they plan wedding venues, menus, flowers and transportation, helped by a multiplying array of Web sites, stores and catalogs.
Twenty-something brides blog about using hybrid cars instead of Hummer limos, about dumping mailed response cards for e-mail RSVPs. Some couples ask retailers not to wrap gifts in yards of paper and ribbons that will just be thrown away. The truly committed can choose wooden wedding rings carved from downed trees, and biodegradable confetti called Ecofetti. Washington flower designer Sidra Forman says half of all couples now ask where flowers for the bouquets and centerpieces are coming from and whether they have been organically grown using fair-trade practices.

LYNWOOD, Calif. -- Paris Hilton left jail Tuesday after a bizarre, three-week stay in which the hotel heiress was briefly released to her Hollywood Hills home, then sent screaming and crying back to a county lockup.
The 26-year-old celebutante walked out of the all-women's jail in Lynwood to an enormous horde of cameras and reporters after midnight. She had checked into the jail largely avoiding the spotlight late June 3 after a surprise appearance at the MTV Movie Awards.
Hilton smiled sheepishly as she left the jail, her blonde hair pulled back in a ponytail. Her parents, Kathy and Rick, met her In a black SUV at the end of what seemed like a red carpet exit from the facility, as cameras snapped pictures and Hilton gave a little wave to the crowd. She didn't say anything.

LYNWOOD, Calif. (AP) - A bizarre three-week stay in jail has ended for Paris Hilton.
All smiles, the hotel heiress walked out of the all-women's jail in Lynwood to a big horde of cameras and reporters shortly after midnight.
Hilton was sent to jail after she violated probation on alcohol-related reckless driving charges by driving on a suspended license.
