Amid the fuss over Sunday's ambiguous conclusion as "The Sopranos" HBO television series, one stunning fact has been overlooked:A taped program on a premium cable network outdrew two live events.The Associated Press reported Neilsen ratings of 11.9 million viewers for "The Sopranos." Joe Motzko will bring the Stanley Cup to his hometown of Bemidji on Thursday.
Fans can meet the former Lumberjacks star and see the Cup from noon to 2 p.m. at the Bemidji Community Arena, 3000 Division St. W., just west of Bemidji High School. Each member of the Anaheim Ducks gets to spend one day with the prestigious trophy.

This has been an active offseason for the Johnstown Chiefs hockey team.
Whether it is an offseason of positive developments remains to be seen.
The team confirmed last week that former National Hockey League player Ian Herbers had been named the eighth coach of the ECHL franchise.
