Associated Press/Orlin Wagner Presidential candidate Ron Paul's philosophy is simple: "no government intervention, not in personal life, not in economic life, not in affairs of other nations." At first glance, he looks like every other congressman in the Canon Building. His suit is dark. His tie is striped. He is convivial with his colleagues, who genuinely like him. Bloomberg?s views were not a comfortable fit with George Bush-style Republicans. He?s in favor of abortion rights, gun control ? he?s a favorite target of the gun lobby ? gay marriage and stem cell research, and he?s at odds with conservatives on immigration. He can point to a track record as a successful business entrepreneur and manager of a city once thought to be unmanageable.

Edwards noted his efforts on behalf of the center to raise the minimum wa...
