PALM BEACH GARDENS — Palm Beach County is swarming with NFL rookies, but if the league's newest players learn anything in the next three days, the locals should hardly notice their presence.
The NFL's 11th annual rookie symposium began on Sunday at PGA National, and the three-day mandatory event for all players drafted in 2007 will serve as an orientation and an attempt to teach the rookies how to manage their lives as a pro football player.

Swiss-based Alinghi has not competed since early April because the defender automatically qualifies for the cup final. New Zealand, meanwhile, fought off 10 teams to win the challenger finals.

Bramlet, allocated by the Washington Redskins, was honored as the MVP in sending Hamburg to its first NFL Europa championship.
"This is an awesome feeling," Sea Devils coach Vince Martino said. "It felt like a heavyweight title fight at times. We had to keep on fighting and the Galaxy kept coming back at us."
