"You need to grow your customer base, but you must be very mindful of the customers you have," he said. Maler oversees about 15 employees.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Maler has always kept his eye on the ball, from excelling in high school and college sports to developing his professional baseball career. After reaching the pinnacle of his sporting career with the Seattle Mariners before suffering a knee injury, Maler refocused on a new career in pest control, beginning as part of a house-tenting crew.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;It's all about attitude, Maler said. Washburn scattered seven hits to win for the first time this month.
